We had some great competition at the AAU SW District Meet. We will soon congratulate our athletes that advanced to Region.
Today is also a special occasion because our own Chance Anderson received a special invite from Brooks Running to compete in a very special and elite event, the PR Invitational. A small group of athletes in each age division and event are invited to Washington each year for a chance to have ONE PR performance.
Chance will compete in the 800 against other 8th grade boys to see if one of them can “PR” personal record, below 2 minutes. Chance’s current PR is a 1:58.
